Welcome to Holy Week at St. Matthew’s!

Holy Week and Easter will include several in-person services, both indoors and outdoors. All in-person worship services require participants to sign up ahead of time, and masks will be required. You do not need to sign up to walk the Stations of the Cross, or the labyrinth set up by our high schoolers for Good Friday. You can sign up to attend worship in-person hereIf you need assistance signing up for any of the worship services, please contact the church office at  703-494-3090.

Maundy Thursday will be an indoor worship service at 7:00 PM. All worshippers must sign up in advance, and masks will be required. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.

More information will be sent to worshippers once they sign up on Sign Up Genius.

Good Friday Worship will be an outdoor worship service at both 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. You must sign up to attend the worship service. There will be a meditative labyrinth and Stations of the Cross that will be available all day Friday and Saturday, with no sign up required. The Stations of the Cross will be handicap accessible.

Celebrate Easter Sunday at St. Matthew’s!

A livestream worship service will be available to watch all day on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.

We will also have two in-person outdoor worship services, at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Easter Egg Hunt after Worship!

Looking for a family friendly activity after Easter Sunday Worship? Stick around for an Easter Egg Hunt! There will be 3 opportunities for families to come for an egg hunt, storytime, and music. Each time slot will allow for up to 20 people so that we can maintain safe distancing. Invite a friend or neighbor to come with you!

Sign up for 12:30-1:15pm, 1:30-2:15pm, or 2:30-3:15pm. Make sure to note how many people will be attending. 

Lent at St. Matthew’s
